Mindful mending, Mindful art For ages 10+ Unwind and reconnect with your creativity in this gentle, two-hour workshop. Bring your pre-loved clothes and learn to patch holes with mindful sewing techniques that breathe new life into your clothes while championing sustainability. If you don't have clothing to repair, you can simply enjoy the tactile, soothing process of creating textile art from scratch. Designed around the art of slow crafting, this session invites you to relax, let go of perfection, and enjoy the rhythm of making. If you are simply searching for a soothing, tactile art project to quiet your mind, you are in the right place. Using appliqué, darning, embroidery, and embellishments, you will learn to turn textile blemishes into miniature masterpieces. Fiona Doney Fiona is a teacher and textile crafter based near Bridgnorth. Originally from Australia, she taught herself to sew and crochet while growing up in the bush. Passionate about sustainability, she enjoys combining recycled textiles and yarns to create unique pieces. Fiona is also a strong advocate for the wellbeing, mindfulness, confidence and resilience that creative crafts can nurture.
